Race Description
RACE DESCRIPTION
The Club 2 Club Swim is a 1.5km open water, straight line swim starting at Edithvale Life Saving Club finishing at Aspendale Life Saving Club. The swim has been labelled “the best straight course in the bay” by competitors and is capped at 500 entrants.

Presentations: 11.30am
The first category of swimmers starting at 10am. All swimmers must register between 7:30am to 9:30am at Aspendale LSC on the day. Please take note of swimmers briefing and wave start times in the table below.
RACE BRIEFING
All swimmers are to attend the race briefing held on the day of the race at 9:50am, please marshal at the race start for briefing at Edithvale Life Saving Club.

*Time may change due to weather conditions. On the day see official start times located at the marshalling area. Swimmers must start with their age group.

ENTRY PROCESS
We will be accepting both online and manual entries (via post) before the event. Incomplete entry forms may be refused. Click here for how to enter.
BAG STORAGE
Storage will be available for competitors before the race at Aspendale Life Saving Club. The Edithvale Life Saving Club Incorporated, Aspendale Life Saving Club Incorporated and other sponsors or any of their agents and servants, shall have no liability for any loss or damage occurring to any items of clothing, footwear, jewellery or other personal effects in relation to the conducting of the event.
Please note that all parties involved in running the swim will not be liable for any loss of personal belongings.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Safety of our competitors and safety crew is our main priority. In the event of inclement weather, the race director will make a decision to run or cancel the event. The race director’s decision is based on weather conditions, competitor and water staff safety.
Should the event be cancelled the event committee will make every effort to run the event on an alternative date as soon as possible. In the event of a reschedule the committee will make an effort to contact all competitors via email, phone or website to advise of the new date.
REFUNDS
In the event of a race cancellation due to storm, rain, inclement seas or weather, winds or other “Act of God” conditions entry fees shall be non-refundable.
PRIZES AND PRESENTATIONS
Prizes will be awarded to the following:
- Fastest Female - $300
- Fastest Male - $300
- Medallions in each category for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
- Prizes will be awarded randomly to selected swimmers in all categories.
Prize presentation will take place at the race finish at Aspendale Life Saving Club at 11:30am.
